Website design

A good-looking website.
With a job to do.

Make your services easy to understand, your business easy to trust and the next step easy to take. New websites and thoughtful redesigns for small businesses across Kent.

WHAT GOES INTO THE BUILD

Designed around
your customers.

01

Structure & content

The right pages, in the right order.

We plan the information a prospective customer needs: what you do, who it’s for, where you work, what it costs where appropriate, and how to contact you. The page list is agreed before design begins.

02

Design & development

Your business, properly presented.

A tailored visual direction using your brand, real photography and clear typography. Layouts work across phones, tablets and wide screens, with readable text, keyboard navigation and reduced-motion support.

03

Performance & search

Good foundations under the surface.

Optimised images, sensible page structure, descriptive titles, internal links and a sitemap. For a redesign, we review existing URLs and plan redirects where your hosting supports them.

04

Testing & handover

Ready for the real world.

Before launch we check links, enquiry journeys, content and responsive layouts. You receive a guide to the agreed editing setup, account access and what is and is not covered after launch.

CONTACT FORMS & BOOKING TOOLS

Make the next step
the easy one.

A plumber may need a postcode and a job description. An appointment-led business may need a calendar. A consultant may only need a short enquiry form. The system should fit the service.

  • Contact and quote forms with useful, clearly labelled fields
  • Spam protection and a tested delivery destination
  • Booking-tool links or embeds, where included in scope
  • Clear confirmation and error messages
  • Privacy information matched to the tools you use

Paid booking tools, email services, payment processing and other third-party subscriptions are separate unless your quote says otherwise. A booking-tool integration is not a bespoke scheduling platform.

ALREADY HAVE A WEBSITE?

Keep what works.
Fix what doesn’t.

A redesign doesn’t have to mean throwing everything away. We start by reviewing your existing content, useful pages, customer journeys and the technology behind the site.

Sometimes the right answer is a clearer homepage and better enquiry form. Sometimes a fresh build makes maintenance simpler. You’ll get a recommended scope before committing.

BEFORE WE START

A few useful details.

Do I need to write all the copy?

Bring what you have. Page planning and editing guidance are included in the packages; substantial copywriting, interviews and photography are quoted separately. You approve all business claims and final content.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes, if an editing system is part of the agreed brief. A lightweight brochure site and a site with a full content management system have different requirements. We agree the editing workflow and any platform fees before development.

How long will the project take?

Your proposal includes a schedule based on page count, integrations and content readiness. Work starts once the scope, initial payment and required materials are in place. Delayed content or new requirements can move the launch date.

Do you build online shops or custom applications?

These need separate discovery and pricing. The published brochure-site packages do not include ecommerce, customer accounts, custom software, complex databases or payment-processing fees.
